Dazzling diamonds & heat & stick powder make this whale so sparkly.

This is such a versatile set & by changing the colourways it makes a great masculine card.

I have had great fun today playing with this set, some of the inspiration is from cards on Splitcoast stampers.

Something to look forward too in the new year

Something to look forward to after Christmas

I am starting up a brand new Stampers 6 club with effect from January.
Heres the deal!!

*
I need 6 ladies to join the club who commit to spending a minimum of £25 a month (plus P&P) for 6 months January - June.
*
Each month one of the 6 ladies will be classed as the "hostess" for that month and will receive freebies of the minimum of a Level 1 stamp set and £15 worth of goodies from the catalogue. Dont worry being hostess simply means you get freebies that month, it doesnt mean you have to let us all come round to your house!!!!!

*
You will receive a free Stampin Up catalogue at the start of the club and any further mini catalogues that might appear during the club run { hopefully a Sale a bration mini in february again }

*
Occasionally I will send out challenges and prizes to some lucky winners

Do you like the sound of it ???
Please mail me for more information or to register a place before they fill up !!!!!

Scrapbooking with Stampin' Up

Just for a change I thought I would incorporate two of my passions scrapbooking & Stampin' Up.

The first set I used was Wild about you which is sadly being retired on 30/9/09
Colours : pretty in pink, Bashful blue & So Saffron

For the second layout I used a combination of two sets
One of a kind & True friend.
The designer series papers I used are spiced cider.

Total Randomness

Todays sample Stampin' Up cards are full of randomness, various sets, various colour palettes & card orientation.

I had a strange day yesterday as I still dont feel 100% and had to go back to the doctors, I had a Stampin' Up parcel en-route from germany which contained a copy of the long awaited new catalogue. The DHL guy arrived mid afternoon and that was it, down tools & sat on the sofa deciding on my first order, but the more I looked the more my wish list grew.
Also in the package was one of the new sets that I can use to make sneak peaks with so watch out on Saturday for the first of my sneak peak posts.

Changing

Changing :
to substitute another or others for; exchange for something else, usually of the same kind.

So I thought I would have a go at making pairs of cards, with a simple change to highlight another way to make the most of your stash.

Colour palette

Its amazing how by changing one simple thing like colourway, card orientation or embellishment you can completely change how your project looks

Looking back

Looking back over the last couple of posts I can see a common theme running through all of the cards I have made for the samples over the last few days.
Can you see what it is?

The change in colour palette, without being consious of the change in seasons I have changed my colour palette in the recent samples.

A few more cards using pocket silhouettes set

Loads of love is a favourite set of mine, so versatile for so many differe
nt occasions, again with the rich autumnal colours from Rich regals & Earth elements.

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
