Penny Black Saturday Challenge 10 = Ribbons

So on to this weeks challenge

Ribbons

this week we would like to see ribbons on your project. As always its entirely up to you what you make - card, atc, altered art etc..as long as it features at least on penny black image.

So here is my interpretation

The flower petals are folk shaped hearts cut from newspaper, scrunched up and inked over with a dye based ink pad. Then I coated each heart with pva glue I placed them on a piece of acetate & that way they peeled off easily. The two sizes of Grosgrain ribbon loops are attached using glue dots and the flower & circle were cut with my Cricut george cartridge. The stamped image was stamped with a permanant ink pad so I could watercolour the cute hedgehog.

  3. Absolutely beautiful, Lisa, but exactly what expect from a lady of your creative talents. Being a "silver surfer" this is the first time I've "blogged" but I shall definitely be back for more.
