Come & have fun & join my stampers 10 ~ Updated

There are no spaces left on the current stampers 10 we will be starting in July.

Please leave a comment & I will add your name to the list of the next stampers 10.

There are still spaces left on the marker share ~ please contact me for details.

Would you like to join a Stampin' Up! Club?

A stamper’s club is an opportunity for you to build up a comprehensive Stampin Up collection over a period of time(either 6 or 10 months) without breaking the bank and ensuring you still receive the fantastic hostess benefits associated with a qualifying order.

You would commit to a ten month membership, agreeing to spend £15 per month from the catalogue. (That’s £3.75 per week - the price of a magazine!) More is allowed, and if you know that you will want to spend at least £30 per month, then you can take two slots

A qualifying order each month has a minimum value of £150.

For this the hostess is eligible to the following FREE benefits:

One level one hostess stamp set of her choice (these are sets that cannot be bought, they can only be earned with qualifying orders of £150 or more)

At least £15.00 worth of free product to be spent in the catalogue

Free catalogue 2008/9 worth £4.95

Free mini catalogue

Free postage (hostess month only)

Each month a DIFFERENT member gets to be the hostess and collects all the free benefits associated with that month's total.

I will hold the workshop with make & takes at my home & all you have to do as hostess of the month is to provide soft drink & some nibbles.

If you wish to join the stampers 10 and don’t live locally that’s not a problem, you can still qualify for the hostess benefits. You dont even have to attend the group if you dont want too. Distance orders need to made and posted 7 days before the meeting.

To run this club we would need either:

10 members to commit for 10 months with a minimum spend of £15.00 plus P&P.

Or

6 members to commit for 6 months with a minimum spend of £25.00 plus P&P

When does it start?
As soon as I have enough members, the club can start - so if you know anyone who would be interested please tell them. Internet access is not essential for membership.

Each month I will run a challenge on my blog. If you send me a picture of what you make with your kit, then your name will be entered into a draw for free goodies from the catalogue

And finally

I have finally made up my mind, after 18 months of dithering & chosen my DSLR camera, everytime I came close to a decision of what camera to choose someone would say how they loved their Canon, Nikon, Sony etc... so off I would go again and compare their choice to mine.

Well Friday I had finally made up my mind & choses the Sony A200.............& I love it, so I'm off out in a bit to see what I can take pictures of, so i'll be back later with some test shots.
Have a lovely day in the sun.

An appology

I have a huge appology to make to anyone who knows me & has had a recent birthday or has a birthday in the coming months, if you dont get a handmade card it's nothing personal. I have fallen in love with scrapbooking.
I have piles of photos to scrap from the last couple of months & thats without the 1000's on my laptop that i will have access too in the next week or so when I get a new lead for my laptop.

I have been off today so after the housework I have managed to spend some time working on a couple of layouts .

From Corfu last year.

The night before Abi turned 14

Learning everyday

They say that you learn somethng new everyday, well a while back I learn't the hard way by making a scrapbook page & whilst I was deciding if I liked the layout I used the hairdryer in the same room & blew the layout everywhere.
Todays layout is another 6" x 12" I was working n the layout last night, but I remembered to stick it down before I dried my hair..... I learned the hard way.

Lisa is............... In love with scrapbooking

I am just loving Scrapbooking, I am snapping away everyday & kicking myself on the days that I forget to take my camera with me & then we have the perfect scrapbook moment or I see something & the perfect title pops into my head.

No prizes for guessing what the journaling strip is recycled from.

I still cant believe my baby is 14 today

Fourteen years ago today I was a very busy lady, I still cannot believe my baby is 14 today, instead of a card I made her this 6 x 6 album celebrating some of the hilights of her year so far. I started it at the crop yesterday & finished it last night.

My First crop

Yesterday was my first ever crop............................Yes I know 18 years as a card maker & I had never been to a crop. Jane came over & picked me up as I wasn't sure where to go. Off I went with my new bag & trimmer, you know how it is you cant just turn up with a tesco bag, especially as I work in the trade & as an independant Stampin demonstrator. I hadn't a clue what to put in my bag, so I took a bit of everything, I think I forgot just as much as I took & ended up having to borrow essentials like a black pen & glue pen..............Live & learn I will be better prepared next month..........I promise.
The crop was great, I did get a couple of pages made, but picked up some cool ideas as well as spending loads of time chatting.
I started Abi's Birthday book, I decided to make her a 6 x 6 album of some of her highlights of the year so far, I was really pleased with the finished book, but I was up until gone 11 last night finishing it as I had chatted more than I'd cropped.
Thanks Jane for coming to get me & Alison I had a great time & am looking forward to the next crop.

Work In Progress

Well the card box is taking shape, it is at the moment still a work in progress, I started the red one & now half way through I decided I fancied making a green one as well, as a result neither are finished yet. I nly have the inserts to finish in the red box & the tabs to make & I will be able to show the completed project.

From this

To this

getting there

The completed projects

***** Top tip *****
If the bottom of the box doesn't lie flat cut an insert & use No more nails to glue it in place. trust me it works a treat.

Tuesday stamper's 10

Well what can I say! where has the sedate group of ladies I first met six months ago gone?......... Only kidding girlies I had a fab time, but what a change to the sedate quiet group, we had a good girly giggle followed by a large helping of chocolate cake ( to die for ) made for us by Janes fella Kraig, thinking back did the giggling start before or after the sugar induced high?

We made two beautiful projects after Michelle regained control, using petal pizazz, another set for my wish list.

It is so nice to meet up with the crazy ladies.

Thank you to Michelle & Jane
