What are you loving at the moment?

Well mine has to be the Dottie & George downloads from
charmedcardsandcrafts
Louise the designer is so talented, just look at her blog she is listed under
crafts by louly in my blog roll.

Still loving my Pink Petticoat downloads, I got a couple more this week the new home & the dinosaurs I haven't yet had chance to play with them, I have that pleasure to come.
Pink Petticoat

And last but not least Sugar Nellie rubber stamps, I bought them some time ago and stamped them up in staz-on in my watercolour pad there they stayed until last week when I needed my pad for something else. I made up some cards & now I need more Sugar Nellie's.

Weekend Gallery

I wasn't able to craft yesterday as I had an awful sick migraine, I feel a bit better today but now left with that dreadful hungover feeling that is the tail end of a migraine for me. I had a headache for 7 days so hopefully yesterday was the worst & I will start to feel better.
I have up loaded the cards I made at the weekend, must having been having a blonde moment as I'd not uploaded them.
Those of you who love the Sugar Nellie stamps might want to stop reading now........... I have just had an e-mail to let me know there newest stamps are online now at http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog

I never know whether it's my photography or my photo manipulation or even the upload process that lets the pictures down, the colours are more vibrant in real life they always looked washed out on my blog when I look back at the posts.

Graduation cards

Bayleigh boo looks on astounded as the mad Tallulah mae runs round & round in the clear bowl, which she did for nearly 10 minutes.

I needed to make some Graduation cards as that time of year is rapidly approaching again, so I dug out a Stampin up set called Tassel Time, sadly this set is now retired.
So I made some similar cards in male & female colours.

My little ball of grey fluff aka Talullah Mae has finally learnt what the little bed is for in the craft room, she does have a habit of laying across Sassy but oddly enough he doesn't seem to mind.

Fathers day card made by the kids

While I was at work yesterday afternoon Dan & Abi spent a couple of hours in the craft room & they left it tidy.
The front most panel uses the words cut with the Cricut & temporarily glued, then with acrylic paint they dabbed over the letters. When the paint was dry they peeled of the letters to reveal the negative.
I thought it was very artistic.

I have been finishing these off during the day in between playing on the Wii with the new games that Paul got for Fathers day & cooking the Sunday dinner.

2 tough questions - simply amazing!

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who
were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis,
would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the response for this one!

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates. Who would you vote for?

Candidate A.
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist
He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B.
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C.
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your choice? Decide first... no peeking, then scroll down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:
If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.
Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember:

Amateurs...built the ark.
Professionals...built the Titanic

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
