More Monsters

Once I got started with the Make a Monster set I found the inspiration just kept coming and I thoroughly enjoyed my Saturday evening sat at the dining table with card & ink surrounding me. I usually craft upstairs in my craft room & as I wasn't well Saturday morning I didn't want to be upstairs on my own.

The background of this card was made using the circle circus set that I've had for about 6 months & initially used a lot but recently it had acquired a dusty jacket, so I dusted it off & made the background using the lovely in colour's. I have to say that the small in colour family is just great having a compact range of 5 colour's. I am finding that if i'm working downstairs I just grab these  colour's & I'm ready to go.

Card for a friend

Love you much is another set that has been on my wish list for about a year now but as I thought it was only for valentines day again I never became desperate to buy it until a couple of weeks ago when I saw some lovely samples online.
Looking at the samples made me realise that this would also be a great set for weddings & anniversaries.

This is a similar card to one that caught my eye online & persuaded me that I needed to add this set to my collection.

Making a monster

Make a monster is one of the sets that was demonstrated at Convention last November, until I saw the demo I cant say it was on my must have list, after the demo I changed my mind, but I kept putting off ordering the set as others always seemed to make there way to the top of the list. Well Make a monster arrived this week & I have mounted it up & had a play this afternoon.

Last Nights Stampers 6

Last night was the penultimate meeting of my current stampers 6 group, the evening followed a lovely sunny day here in Norfolk so my cards reflect the sunny mood.
The inspiration came from Carol a fellow demonstrator & a bookmark swap I received on Saturday at the regional training event. I love the different spritzed flowers that are showing up on everyones blogs at the moment.
Carol had two lovely colour ways one in the Brights palette & a second option in the Subtles palette, I chose to open up my Colour coach & use the combination that fell open

Projects like this that use lots of punches are ideal for making large batches of cards, like invitations or thank you cards. The punches make these cards very easy to make.

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
