Having a catch up day

Last night was my Stampers 10 group & it turned into a loud evening of lovelieness, It is a really lovely group who all get on together, after all for most this is their 3rd stampers 10.
They chatted & laughed all evening & we only managed to make one card which is the same card as we made on Monday in the stampers 6 / 7 group. We decided to leave the second card until next time.
I was so wide awake when they all left last night that I sat up playing a stupidly addictive game on Facebook until 1.15 this morning, fortunately I'm not working now until next week so I have been playing catch up today on all of the tidying up from last night, the house is now clean, all the washing is done, just the drying & ironing to go & the craft room to tidy & hoover.
With all that finished before lunch I have spent the afternoon editing photo's & catching up on my bog posts.

More Monsters

Once I got started with the Make a Monster set I found the inspiration just kept coming and I thoroughly enjoyed my Saturday evening sat at the dining table with card & ink surrounding me. I usually craft upstairs in my craft room & as I wasn't well Saturday morning I didn't want to be upstairs on my own.


The background of this card was made using the circle circus set that I've had for about 6 months & initially used a lot but recently it had acquired a dusty jacket, so I dusted it off & made the background using the lovely in colour's. I have to say that the small in colour family is just great having a compact range of 5 colour's. I am finding that if i'm working downstairs I just grab these  colour's & I'm ready to go.

Another layout for day 12 of Fond farewell challenge

The picture isn't from the last bank holiday, although you wouldn't notice from the weather in the background. It was taken last June at the Lowestoft air show minutes before the most spectacular Sea storm I have ever seen.

I love crop day
Its the one day in the month that Abi & I get to spend time alone together, eat junk food & chat to other crafters.

I even managed to complete a double layout, I think this is the first layout I have managed to complete in about a month, maybe even longer. Well I had to finish it when we got home, despite being super organised this morning I had a bit of a headache, I think that extra glass of wine may have had something to do with it! ! I forgot to print off the photo's I wanted to use.


The layout uses the Stampin' Up set Circle circus, Just perfect alphabet, The Stampin' Up circle punches & the Bold brights colour palette.

Alison had even baked a yummy Coffee cake which melted in the mouth as we had two birthdays, everyone sang Happy Birthday to Daphne & I, it was a lovely day. Thanks go to Ann who came & collected us so we could take extra stash with us.
