Randomness from a long weekend

Well the weather wasn't up to much in Norwich...... except for good Friday which was beautifully sunny & that was the day I had to work over the weekend, every customer that came into the shop commented on the beautiful weather ........... After the twentieth comment we were getting seriously frustrated as the floor we work on has no windows.
So it was an ideal weekend for some crafting Cardmaking on Saturday & scrapbooking on sunday.

Cardmaking

A Couple of wedding cards, the same card in two different colourways.

A scrapbook page for Abi ~ Last year one of her favourite pastimes was trying on Clothes in the City clothes shops & posing for photo's she took herself, I didn't know any of this until I found the pictures that she had downloaded onto my laptop as hers wasn't working.

The little bird says " A little bird told me .........."

This little bird says "Your happiest when trying on clothes & taking pictures in the changing rooms"

Scrapbook page ~ Corfu town 2008

Last October we went to Corfu, one of the days out we had was in Corfu town it was a bank holiday and there were street parades & a carnival atmosphere. The pictures on this page were taken from the fort in Corfu town............. The views were amazing.

These dogs live on the beach all summer as all the tourists feed them & the restaurants 7 bars put out there scraps. In the winter they are rounded up and put in a pound & released again durng the summer.

Stampin up ~ Soft Summer

Soft summer is one of the georgous new sets from the Mini catalogue which can be viewed here.
The card is for my Mum, trying to get ahead of the game when the inspiration strikes as her Birthday isn't until July, the card is still a work in progress as it needs to have a box made & ribbons added & a tag to go in the tag pocket.
The two sentiment stamps are not in the Soft summer set they are both by Hero arts.

40th Birthday card order

I was asked to make a card for a 40th Birthday. The guy works with my husband & wanted to remind his wife that she was 40............... I hated being 40 so this was a challenge, but I was very pleased with how the card turned out, I also made a keepsake box for the card, but I forgot to photograph it.

With Spring in mind

With Spring in mind. Michelle has set a challenge to her Stampers 10 group to create a card. scrapbook page or a 3D item with flowers to symbolise spring

Stampin Up ~ Garden Whimsey

Stampin Up ~ Watercolour Mini's

Since going to my Stampers 10 group I have become a fan of two step stamping, you wouldn't believe how long I have had some of my two step stamping sets, so now I am dusting of these sets & finding a new appreciation of them.

ILWS Swap 5

I recently took part in a 10 card swap on ILWS ........... The brief was to only use current Stampin up products. Here are the 10 cards I received.

Race for Life

I will leave this post at the top of the page until after the race.
