1. If a movie was being made of your life who would you like to be cast to play yourself? and why?
I would like to have Kylie play me as she never seems to age, and with another birthday just around the corner & the first wrinkle has just appeared.
2. You are spending a whole month on a dessert island for charity and you have to choose your favourite celebrity to spend the first two weeks with & your least favourite celebrity to spend the second two weeks with, who would they be & why?
My Favourite celebrity would be Ellen degeneress a very funny lady & she would make the time fly. Then onto the dreaded last two weeks I think my lest favourite celebrity is Jo Brand loud mouthed & obnoxious so called funny woman.
3. What are your three favourite crafting products?
Thats easy Prima flowers, rubber stamps & ribbon.
4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?
Satellite tracking key fobs for my children's door keys, I swear we spend half our lives searching for their keys.
5. What are the last three books that you read?
Maeve Binchey ~ Quentins
Maeve Binchey ~ Night of rain & stars
Janet Evanovich ~ Lean mean thirteen
6. Qvc or create & Craft?
Qvc, but just to watch I seldom order from either as the postage is so high, but I dont like pushy stephanie on create & craft.
7. Docrafts or Dovecraft or DCWV?
Thats easy DCWV, the quality is superb and the glitter card stock is just so yummy.
8. What is your claim to fame?
When the queen came to visit the Met office in Bracknell I was 12 years old & when she did a walk about in the town centre I gave her a bunch of freesias.
The people I am tagging are:

Ruth ~ http://craftywanderings.blogspot.com

Sharing my craft space
I love looking around peoples craft spaces on Split coast stampers, some of them are absolutely amazing. So I thought I would share my space with you.
The really useful boxes contain cards ready for each occasion and the bottom are full of stamps, I have a large under bed storage box which is full & over flowing with more wood mounted rubber stamps
I just love ribbon so the storage racks that I bought from the closing down craft shop was ideal to hold the spools, the jars too the right are my old tea, coffee & sugar caddys, They were too good to throw away so I recycled them to hold the individual metres of ribbon.
Oh & the crisps,my guilty secret I am a crisp-a-holic.
The shelves at the end of the room are fully of Stampin up stamp sets, I have been buying them for about 8 years from America, long before they arrived in the UK.
I love these stamps and the catalogues are just so inspirational.
The messy bit, where i actually craft.... when i'm not blogging.
These two Cd racks were a bargain at just £5 each, they are unpainted wood, that I do intend to paint with acrylics when time permits.
The Cd racks came from a shop in Norwich called Qd.
A better view of the two boats, I love the beach, especially beach huts and the boats just fitted in with the theme.
I needed to get organised so hubby put me up these shelves, I them spent a whole weekend organising everything and labeling every box, the small clear boxes on the top shelf are take away chinese containers.... I dont eat much take away so I picked some up at the pound shop.
The paper rack for 12" papers came from a craft shop that was closing down, I was sad to see yet another craft shop disappear from the high st, but was really pleased with my purchase.
I hope you have enjoyed having a nosey around my space & maybe you now fancy sharing yours.

Cats

Last night we all went out as a family, which is a feat in itself with a teenager & a nearly teenager. We went into Norwich to the theatre to see the musical CATS. I have seen it before in the west end, so I had something to compere it too, but I can truthfully say it was every bit as magical as the first time I saw it & even the kids enjoyed it. Abi who is musical has played a couple of the pieces in school concerts so she was able to sing a long.

A little naughty ~ But please dont be offended
There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me Elmo Toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arms.
Well, Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 8:00AM
The next day at 8:45 AM there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door.
The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new employee.
He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule.
The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself, so the 2 men march down to the factory floor.
When they get there the line is so backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmo's all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up.
At the end of the line stood Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmo's.
She had a roll of plush red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles.
The 2 men watched in amazement as she cut a little piece of fabric, wrapped it around two marbles and began to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs.
The Personnel Manager burst into laughter.
After several minutes of hysterics he pulled himself together and approached Lena .
'I'm sorry,' he said to her, barely able to keep a straight face, 'but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday...'
'Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles.
Pass this onto everybody that needs a little laughter.

More of Abi's cards
Yesterday Abi made a few more cards using the Pink Petticoat downloads.
After matting & layering onto bazzill bling she used the DCWV glitter spring stack.

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

No card making yesterday
I didn't get any card making done yesterday as we were over at my sister in laws helping her with a project in her garden, whilst we were working we had a little companion and quite a poseur he was too.
I just happened to have my camera handy whilst he hopped around the garden I managed to get about 20 shots of him, I though these pictures might come in handy when I start my Christmas cards.

Video exclusive: First-ever images of the world's only flying penguins
Skimming just feet above the waves, a colony of rare penguins takes to the air - proving they can FLY.
The incredible snap for a new BBC nature series, Miracles of Evolution, shows the birds zooming across the sea hunting for food.
They launch themselves down steep icy slopes with an upward curve to get the momentum to take off.
Then they flap their tiny wings to reach a steady cruising speed before eventually crashing back into the water.
Film maker Prof Alid Loyas said: "We could hardly believe our eyes. It was amazing."
"It's the perfect example of Darwin's theory of evolution working in reverse."
The flying penguins - filmed at King George's Island, 1,200 kilometres south of the Falklands - are just part of the TV crew's astonishing discoveries.

Crafts are here
Crafts are here, crafts are there,
My craft supplies are everywhere.
I really should clean this mess,
but I like it I confess.
Floor is littered, chairs are piled,
Kitchen's looking pretty wild.
On the table, counter too,
Seems that any place will do.
Hall is stacked with cartons high,
filled with things folks like to buy.
Garage is full, but so far....
there's still room to park the car.
I never have an idle day,
New ideas come my way.
Don't know yet what I'll create,
but my imagination's great.
My family smiles, they don't complain,
although at times I am a pain.
but when all is said and done,
I really am a crafty one!
I"ve been visited
