Always a part of me.
A few weeks ago I experimented for the first time making a layout on canvas, I loved them so much & had so many lovely comments about them I decided to make a pair to send to my Mum for her Birthday on Friday.
They are slightly bigger than the original pair, these are 12" x 12"

Stampin' Up Training
What a wonderful evening we had, though Paula & Kelly had a tough act to follow when we were evacuated from the hotel & the georgous crew from Peterborough fire station attended, they were a lovely bunch even waving for the camera, sadly someone put their head in front of the picture so I cant share it with you.
There was so much talent all in one room I was really inspired by the swaps I received. It is traditional when Stampin' Up demonstrators have a gathering that we make swap cards to share. There is nothing better than a crafty get together.
Here are some of the lovely cards i received, a few Christmas cards in the mix as well.
If you have ever fancied becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator, then call me for a chat & I will share the benefits with you.
I love being a Stampin' Up demonstrator...............

Road Trip
Thanks for a lovely afternoon
My families clothes are no longer in danger of being raided, and you always thought it was the washing machine that mysteriously took all the buttons ! ! !
I can truthfully say I am no longer short of buttons

Blank canvas challenge
A few weeks back we had a crop & craft evening at my house, when Jane came in I handed her an 8 x 8 blank canvas. Jane as usual rose to the challenge & created this beautiful layout of her beautiful little girl.
As ever I am inspired by janes creativity & had a go at making canvases using her layout for inspiration.
Off to get some black & white buttons tomorrow to finish thsi off, but I was so pleased with it so far I just had to share it with you.

What a beautiful day
It was lovely to just spend time around the house, something that we haven't done for a while, but with Abi still in a lot of pain going out wasn't an option, after spending Friday evening in hospital with her it was nice to just chill out today.
Yesterday I popped into the city to see my lovely friend Dawn who was doing the Raspberry ripple demonstration with the georgous new K & Co papes in Jarrolds. her samples were so lovely that I was tempted to buy a few bits, since finding the photobox website I have a back log of pictures waiting to be scrapped ...... to be truthful as I have only recently started to scrap I have about 18 years worth.

It got me!
I was so busy taking pictures of the rapidly changing weather that I didn't notice this huge wave as it soaked me right up to my knee's, all I could do was laugh and once I started I just couldn't stop.
I was stood 15' from where the last few waves broke
We ended the evening with a picnic of chow mein & chips in the car and guess who forgot to check if the chinese had disposable cutlery so we ended up eating chow mein with chop sticks in the car.

Crafts are here
Crafts are here, crafts are there,
My craft supplies are everywhere.
I really should clean this mess,
but I like it I confess.
Floor is littered, chairs are piled,
Kitchen's looking pretty wild.
On the table, counter too,
Seems that any place will do.
Hall is stacked with cartons high,
filled with things folks like to buy.
Garage is full, but so far....
there's still room to park the car.
I never have an idle day,
New ideas come my way.
Don't know yet what I'll create,
but my imagination's great.
My family smiles, they don't complain,
although at times I am a pain.
but when all is said and done,
I really am a crafty one!
I"ve been visited
