Happy Easter everyone, whilst you are all opening your Easter eggs I wanted to share with you the card that I made for Larissa our 3 year old Grandaughter. Just like all the little girls I know I just love pink so I chose various shades of Stampin' Up cardstock in pink for the card it is A5 size.

This is a larger version of a Cake shop window card that we were shown as a Make & Take at Monica & Bekkas training day.

I know that Larissa had a lovely day she went on a picnic with all of her cousins & some of her friends, the pictures that her auntie & Mummy took were lovely of them all & most of all the day stayed sunny for them.

Happy Sunday to you all
I am still here but have been very busy in the last week alone I have spent a day with fellow demo's Sharon & Michelle prepping & planning for our forthcoming Stampin' experience day on the 24th April, for which there are still a couple of spaces.

Wednesday was my stampers 10 group & as usual we had fun making a card holder with4 cards 4" x 4" in size.Thursday was the first meeting of my new stampers 6 group, we made the same project both nights.


The measurements to make the card holder are
1 piece of Apricot appeal 11 1/2" x 5"
scored at 5 1/4" from each end.

2 pieces of Rose red 6" x 3"
Score at 1/4" & 1/2" on both short sides & 1 long side.

2 pieces of certainly celery 2" x 5" & punched with a border punch of your choice

Well the weekend is almost here & hopefully the sun will shine so I can get out with my camera & capture the arrival of spring


Two cards again similar in style & composition but different colour schemes, I am trying this week to make masculine cards with the shortage of masculine products in general within the craft industry I have decided that by using some of my current Stampin' up sets & using masculine colour schemes that I can overcome the masculine cards issue.


I think that I need to get my stamp a ma jig out in future, or I can just claim artistic licence for the wonky greeting.

Two cards & two techniques

Two cards & two techniques for todays cards.
These cards use the masking technique using post it notes.
Tutorial
The balloons from the Crazy for cupcakes set lends itself perfectly to the masking technique.
The second is putting the colours on the stamped balloons & thats called paper piecing. Where you stamp the image onto the printed papaers & cut them out & layer them onto your stamped image.

Cupcake crazy ~ see my ideas

Well today was my first Stampin up party as a demonstrator, I had an open house & as I love everything cupcakes it was only natural that I should choose "Crazy for cupcakes as my set to demonstrate.

Thank you to everyone who came it certainly was a learning curve I did enjoy the day & evening immensley, but was absolutley shattered.

So now all my guests have seen & made the projects its time to share them on my blog.

Crazy for Cupcakes

As many of you may know I have my first Stampin up party on Friday as a deonstrator, one of the sets I intend to use is Crazy for cupcakes, so I have been playing with this set all weekend, here are some of the creations I made.

40th Birthday card order

I was asked to make a card for a 40th Birthday. The guy works with my husband & wanted to remind his wife that she was 40............... I hated being 40 so this was a challenge, but I was very pleased with how the card turned out, I also made a keepsake box for the card, but I forgot to photograph it.

Cupcakes Anyone?

Crazy for cupcakes has another outing, I just love this set, this time I have added some paper piecing. The cardstock is all stampin up, The letters and the scalloped circle, ribbon slider are all from the Cricut cartridge Mini Monograms.
