Just had to share

I just have to share the beautiful first  crop of new potatoes from our own garden. growing veggies was a completely alien concept to Paul & I but we just had to have a go & whilst its a learning curve it's one that looks like its going to be sucessful.
These little beauties were grown in a patio bag & now that we hae got rid of the 10ft trampoline there is lots of space for the veggies to grow into.

I'm not the only one being creative

Paul has been creative in the Garden, we've started growing our own vegetables in our mini greenhouse. Soon they will need to be planted outside & with a dog that piddles on everything they needed to be raised off the ground. The potato planting sack was balanced on some upturned plastic plant pots, not surprisingly this wasn't very successful so Paul made this raised unit to put the bags on. I just need things to start growing now.

Whilst Paul was working in the garden out of the corner of his eye he kept seeing our patch of ornamental grasses moving, when he looked lula was asleep in there in the shade she had made herself a nice cool nest, not done much for the grasses, which are now a bit flat.

Another lazy afternoon spent scrapbooking

Another Sunday afternoon spent scrapbooking

I am still using the June kit from Sarah's cards & I still have loads left, so whoever recommended that site a big thank you. I am now looking forward to the 20th of the
month when next months kit arrives. If anyone knows of any other good kit sites then please let me know as I am enjoying experimenting with products & papers I wouldn't normally choose.

I am lovin the Sassafrass papers at the moment.

The garden in the pictures is my sister in laws in Bunwell

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
