Stars & Stripes

The papers are "cogsmo" by Cosmo Cricket they are so cool for male cards this range is actually robots, but the coordinating papers are great.
The card base and the mat and stars are from the Stampin up colour collection " earth elements".

Wow i'm amazed I won the draw for the Penny Black Saturday challenge 10
Here is the card.The flower petals are folk shaped hearts cut from newspaper, scrunched up and inked over with a dye based ink pad. Then I coated each heart with pva glue I placed them on a piece of acetate & that way they peeled off easily. The two sizes of Grosgrain ribbon loops are attached using glue dots and the flower & circle were cut with my Cricut George cartridge. The stamped image was stamped with a permanent ink pad so I could watercolour the cute hedgehog.

So on to this weeks challenge

Ribbons

this week we would like to see ribbons on your project.As always its entirely up to you what you make - card, atc, altered art etc..as long as it features at least on penny black image.

So here is my interpretation

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Whilst I was blog hopping i found this great challenge site, I have never done one of the card making challenges so I thought I would give it a go.

The background is from a stampin up wheel run twice along the card, with a gap in between for the ribbon. The matting & Layering is done using Bazill Bling another of my favourites.
