Kitten Diaries

This is a craft free post, sorry............................


I cannot believe it's now 8 days since Maddie had her litter of kittens Peanut Butter & Jelly.
When they were born Peanut butter weighed 143g & Jelly weighed 117g, what a difference a week makes with Peanut butter now weighing 270g gaining 123g in a week & Jelly now weighing 226g gaining 109g.

Neither kitten has their eyes open yet, but that is a milestone that they'll probably reach this week.

Dan was home from Uni last week so he got to spend the week with the kittens & Maddie is a lovely Mum, as soon as I come in from work she runs to meet me & goes off for a little wander around the house once i'm sitting with her kittens.

Although they are growing fast they still fit in my hand, just & they love to lie upside down.

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
