Jack of all trades

Halloween Treats

The beauty of this Halloween cracker treat is beautifully easy & is made using two seperate milk cartons using the Milk carton die.
The two ends are not glued into the central band, they do however fit snuggly allowing a treat to be placed in each end so everyone is a winner.

The colours used are Tangerine Tango & Concord Crush.
Jack of all trades
Wood mounted 122620 £21.95
Clear Mounted 122622 £17.95

The papers used to decorate the band are from the lovely Frightful Sight range

I have used the Basic Black Satin ribbon, the ends have been frayed, which was incredibly hard, its called "Sods law" If i'd wanted a smooth flawless end to my ribbon it would have frayed, because I wanted a unfinished look It took me ages to get the ribbon to fray.

Halloween sets being in the new catalogue are a result of people power, Stampin' Up always ask for feedback & often send out surveys to demonstrators for feedback. One of the constant requests was Halloween, so here it is.

So if you have any feedback that you'd like me to pass onto Stampin' Up then please leave a comment.

I'm off work tomorrow so i'm going to try a couple more of these in Christmas colours.

Another little treat

I love these new papers they are just luscious & they co-ordinate so well with one of the new stamp sets that I am yet to ink.

122360 Flirtatious Speciality papers £11.50

The stamp set i'm referring to is on page 69 of the new catalogue & is called Delicate Doilies
122590 wood mounted £ 20.95 122592 clear mounted £16.95

I have seen lots of these treat bags in the past & never really paid much attention to them but with my mind turned to Christmas & table favours, treats & colleague gifts I thought I would try one out. The Flirtatious papers are lovely for a project like this as they contain a good mix of feminine colours 7 masculine colours as well as the two lovely sheets of laser cut doilies.
Melon mambo Doilies

The tag was made using one of the lovely new stamps from the new hostess set called Tagtastic, this set can only be purchased with hostess pounds, which are earned by placing an order over £150 or by hosting a party.

Wood mounted 122745 £12 hostess pounds
Clear Mounted 122747 £10 hostess pounds
If you would like to know more about becoming a hostess & how you can earn exclusive hostess sets then drop me a line or comment on this post.

A treat with the new catalogues

This is what awaited my ladies when they arrived for this weeks Stampers 10 group. A note pad with their initials the alphabet is Broadsheet. A note peg again with their initial & of course a wish list sheet.

Broadsheet Alphabet 118724 wood mount £44.95 120585 Clear mount £36.95
The papers are from the new catalogue in the pack you get two of each sheet of the double sided papers plus two sheets of the laser cut doilies 1 in Pumpkin Pie & 1 in Melon mambo.
122360 Flirtatious £11.50
The pads are very easy to cover & only take about 10 minutes each but all of my ladies loved them, some were so busy playing with the Kitten that they didn't even notice the new catalogues & pads.

I am now looking at a slightly different design for my Stampers 7 ladies as they've probably seen this post & I do like a little surprise so I wont blog them until after I see my ladies on the 10th.

Have you flicked through the new catalogue yet?
If you have then I'm sure that you will have found the New in colours on page 2

My first purchase from the new catalogue

Hey Crafters!
Well, it's my favourite time of year, the release of the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog! I love October for that reason alone! I spend days checking out the new products, drooling over the project samples and making my wish list! & remaking my wish list again.

122361 petite pennant builder  ~ punch

One of the first items I purchased is our new Petite Pennants Punch and I want to share my first project with you using that punch. The matching stamp set for this punch is Pennant Parade 122740 ( wood mount ) £20.95 122742 ( Clear mount ) £16.95
Pennant Parade 122740 ( wood mount ) £20.95 122742 ( Clear mount ) £16.95

So let me know what your Loving

Hostess Pounds & how to earn them.

With the new catalogue Stampin' Up have streamlined the hostess benefits making it possible for any hostess to now achieve any stamp set, the hostess benefits programme is called Hostess pounds.

How do Hostess Pounds work?
Hostess Pounds can only be spent on the products in the hostess section of the catalogue AND in the remaining pages of the catalogue. The hostess section features exclusive stamps sets which can only be earned when hosting a workshop or joining one of my stampers 6 / stampers 10 groups or by placing a qualifying order over £150
Each product in the hostess section will have a hostess value next to it. This will indicate how much of your pounds you will spend if you select that particular set.
The great thing is, if you were to select a stamp set that is £45 hostess pounds, you can still own that set by paying the additional £5. How great is that?!

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
