Today I have worked, I use this term loosely as I had the pleasurable job of watching Dawn who was demonstrating the cuttlebug and the new Inkadinkadoo Christmas rubber stamps in Jarrolds and assisting all of our interested customers, Dawn left us some beautiful samples & she is always a source of Inspiration.
This morning I won a prize & last night I was invited to a Stampin up party, which of course I went too, how could I refuse. The demo was Michelle who inspired us all as usual and was full of useful tips.So after all of my chat here are the make & takes from last nights Stampin up party.
My 6 x 6 scrapbook page, I just love this set with the animals.
And here is my Crocodile card using a stamp from the same set called Wild about you, unfortunately the faux crocodile skin doesn't show up too well. To make the skin you take a piece of green cardstock and cover it with Versamark pad, sprinkle over the whole area with embossing powder and then with a pen lid or pokey tool drag wobbly lines down and across to make a grid effect, heat with the heat tool and there you have it Faux crocodile skin.
The other thing that doesn't show too well in the picture is the scallop punch used over the corner to look like a crocodile punch, just by using about a quarter of the punch over the top corner.
