Stampers 10 meeting

Tonight was my once a month Stampers 10 meeting & we had nearly a full house, It was lovely for me to be surrounded with special Stamping friends as well as my daughter Abi who joined as, she usually works on a Thursday evening.

Well I'm sure if you've been following my blog over the last couple of weeks you will guess which stamp set we used tonight, yes you guessed right Scentsational seasons, I think that this is my new Christmas Favourite, especially with the Framelits making it easy to cut out your stamped images in No time at all.

Top Tip ~ To make a very quick & easy Background for any card that is guaranteed to match perfectly you need two simple items that I'm sure all of you have in your craft stash. A pencil with a rubber on the end & a Versamark ink pad.
Simple using the rubber as your stamp, dip it into the versamark ink pad and randomly dot all over your card front remembering to stamp off the edges.................Cool and guaranteed to co-ordinate.

The second card that we made tonight is an Origami Christmas Tree, very simple yet very effective, this tree has 5 sections measuring 9cm, 8cm, 7cm, 6cm & 5cm square. Here is a link to the tutorial I used.

The smallest squares are a little tough to fold & a bone folder is a great tool for getting sharp creases.

The next stampers 10 evening is on Thursday 8th November I look forward to doing it all over again, the theme once again for the evening will be Christmas.

Inky Hugs until next time

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
