Exciting day......

I am really excited my Stampin up catalogue had just arrived for my party on the 1st of August, so i am going to sit here this evening and drool over all of the lovely goodies.
Does anyone have any favourites from the catalogue that are must haves?
See the catalogue online here
I have never had a stamping party so this is a first for me.

Some of you may know that I work in a large independent department store in the art & craft department. I have been asking for a few months that we bring the Cuttlebug range in & today we made the decision to stock the cuttlebug AND we have arranged a demonstration for the 23rd of August. So I am really looking forward to that, I love it when we have demonstrators in as they are always such nice people & an amazing source of knowledge & inspiration.

We have also been planning a Christmas in July week, that is happening from 28th July and carrying on for the whole week, so I will have to start making a few samples to display whilst we demonstrate during the week. So what I need to know is what are your predictions for Christmas colour schemes.

Ooh, my top tip & absolute must have from stampin up is a stamp a ma jig, I would not be without it & it has saved many cards from possible disaster (I am not very good at getting stamps in the right place). After that as much card as you can lay your hands on & as many inks as you can possibly afford. I bought their packs of card so that you get to find out your favourite colours (I bet it won't be the colours you think)

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
