Whats your favourite Christmas Stamp set from the current catalogues?

I have managed to spend all afternoon in the craft room, that said it wasn't a particularly productive afternoon, I was trying to work out how I had made an Australian Gingerbread garland, I have a 2nd attempt drying so more about that tomorrow.

I eventually think I worked out what I had did wrong, so then I moved on to some more Ornaments keepsakes cards, so it looks like I have another favourite set.

So out of the two current catalogues what is your favourite set?

Whilst pondering the Australian Gingerbread Garland I came across a wonderful blog by a lady called Patty Bennett, she had made a great card using the Holiday frame embossing folder and the white shimmer paint. I cased the card & then changed the colour way for a slightly different look.

The glitter border is the glimmer paper that is great as it doesn't shed the glitter.

Although it is quite hard to see on the very vanilla cardstock I have used the white shimmer paint on a sponge dauber & rubbed it over the raised impression left from the holiday Frame embossing folder.

The colours used on all of the cards are from the new in-colours for 2012 -2014 Gumball Green & Raspberry Ripple

Do you have a favourite Stamp set that you always reach for?

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
