Our garden

We have been in this new house for nearly 3 years and we have nearly finished the garden, well I say finished what I mean is got it nearly how we wanted it, I guess being a garden it will never be finished

I did fancy re-modelling the shed to make it look like a beach hut, I just love the beach huts but as they sell for more than a small house in Yarmouth that's a no no. I had this image of a lovely white & pale blue beach hut in my mind with blue & white gingham curtains & a fake pointed roof on the front, but nobody else could see in my mind to get a clear picture of my vision & as I cant draw that was that, a plain old shed it stayed.
My Lavender tub, the soil is great my Lavenders just thrive.
The tub with the trellis has 2 blueberry plants in, I bought them last year and they both had good crops.
Paul hates this water feature he thinks it looks like a tombstone, but it looks very effective as it is surrounded by lights.
In my wall trough just outside the backdoor
The raised bed is one of my favourite areas, we made this out of some old railway sleepers, cut them into chunks and sunk them into the ground like groynes at the beach. The copper tree in the middleis another water feature I love it but it does make the surrounding soil very wet but everything seems to be thriving .

All we need now is a few more blue pots to make it look more Mediterranean and then we can start working on the front garden.

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
